Interesting, I’ll have to try that. I wonder if I could wrap it in a zip-loc bag and then dunk it in cold water, for extra easy cleanup…

I somehow did that by mistake (but didn’t take a picture as it wasn’t my goal). So here’s a very easy way to get a nude filament. First light the bulb so that it gets hot. Switch it off. Take a wet towel and cover the bulb with it, the glass will slowly shater. Dispose of it safely. All that’s left is to light up the bulb to see it burn.
